Fort Solis will become a movieas already reported, and the co-founders of the production studio that will handle the adaptation, André Hedetoft and Andreas Troedsson, appeared on video to reveal the first details of the project.
“From the first moment we saw the trailer for Fort Solis we both immediately found ourselves thinking first of all that we wanted to play it and then of having to do something to bringing this extraordinary story and this extraordinary cast to a format we are familiar with“, they said.
“Both you and I love science fiction and thrillers where there are a few characters who find themselves in a very isolated place, and I would say Fort Solis has all of those elements: the thriller component of not knowing who's right and who's wrong , but also some of the most interesting characters I've ever seen.”
“In terms of the story we want to tell, are we going to expand the plot of the game or are we going to tell something completely different? I don't think I can reveal that right now, but we've started discussions with a couple of actors we're excited about and to think about where to place this project.”
A cinematic experience
If you have read our review of Fort Solis, you will know that on a narrative and interpretative level the title developed by Fallen Leaf offers a cinematographic experience, decidedly well written and well directed.
The downside is represented by the many limitations of the gameplay, the short duration of the adventure and the unconvincing performances, but these are aspects that clearly will not jeopardize in any way a cinematic transposition.
