The F1 season starts next weekend in Bahrain.
Alfa Romeo postponed for this period Valtteri Bottas was pleased with the final test day in Bahrain, although driving was interrupted after a technical fault after 68 laps and Bottas’ car stopped at the track.
Despite the reliability issues, Bottas believes everything is ready for the season starting next week next Sunday.
“This was a really positive day until the problem came. We definitely learn a lot more here in Bahrain than in (previous tests) Barcelona, ”Bottas commented on the team’s website.
“We still have some small things to solve, but I can say that the potential of the car exists and I really started to enjoy driving.”
Bottas says the problems need to be solved in the coming days and more needs to be learned from the car.
“I’m done, the stable is ready, and I can’t wait to compete.”
