Magnussen has driven at the Haas team for four seasons.
Formula the Haas team of the first ones chose a Dane as their new F1 driver Kevin Magnussen. He will replace the dismissed Nikita Mazepinin.
The selection was somewhat expected, and Magnussen is also a driver familiar to Haas: he drove in the stable for the 2017-2020 season.
Magnussen, 29, drove two seasons before his Haas season at McLaren and one season at the Renault team. For the 2014 season, Magnussen is the only podium player: he was McLaren’s second in Australia in F1, the first race of both the season and his entire career.
Season 2020 After that, Haas did not renew Magnussen ‘s contract, but was replaced by Mazep and Mick Schumacher. Schumacher is thus now a teammate of Magnussen.
Last season, Magnussen took part in a 24-hour drive to Le Mans, among others, with his father Jan Magnussen and Anders Fjordbachin with. The ranking was 29th.
