The coming October in Central Russia will be warm but rainy. This was stated on October 2 in a message on the website of the weather center “Phobos“.
The air temperature in October is expected to be 1-2 degrees above the norm. In addition, precipitation will fall at least 1.5 times more than the average meteorological statistics.
“The scenario for ten-day periods will be as follows: the first decade is expected to be the warmest and the wettest (the temperature is 3-5 degrees above the norm, precipitation will fall 2 times more than the norm); the second decade, on the contrary, is expected to be cold (1–2 degrees below the norm), the amount of precipitation is predicted to be near the norm; in the third decade, the temperature will be 0.5-1° above the norm, precipitation will fall slightly more than the norm – by 10-20%,” the weather forecasters noted.
As Evgeny Tishkovets, the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, clarified, by the next weekend the air temperature in Moscow will rise to +17 degrees.
“The upcoming seven-day period in Central Russia can be meteorologically divided into two different periods: the first half of the week will be rainy in autumn, but by the end of the period the weather will please,” the specialist said.
According to him, on Monday in Moscow there will be heavy rains, on Tuesday the rains will continue, but will weaken, it will be windy. After the passage of the cold front, it will freshen up to +5…+10, in the daytime not higher than +8…+13. Wednesday will be the coldest day when the thermometers do not rise above +6…+11.
No rain is expected on Thursday, but it will get warmer, already on Friday it is expected to reach +16 degrees.
“At the weekend, Muscovites will enjoy comfortable weather, at the height of the day the air will warm up to +12 – plus 17, which is 5 degrees above the normal climatic norm,” Tishkovets concluded.
Earlier on Sunday, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, warned that heavy rains are expected in the Krasnodar Territory and Central Russia from October 2 to 4. According to the meteorologist, on October 3 there will be heavy rains in the Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Belgorod, Moscow, Pskov, Novgorod, Tver, Yaroslavl and Tula regions.
