There Ford presented to the 24 Hours of Le Mans the new Mustang GT3, together with the street-legal version Mustang GTDpowered by a powerful supercharged V8 from beyond 800 HP, with transaxle transmission to improve weight distribution and rear push-rod suspension. The Mustang GTD includes the Performance Packs which optimizes aerodynamics with active winglets, splitters and flaps, essential for extreme performance such as fast lap at Nürburgring Nordschleife.

There Ford Mustang GTDrevolutionized in aesthetics with steel bodywork carbon fiber unpainted on many elements, it is equipped with new Performance Packs which widens the tracks, adds air intakes for engine cooling on the bonnet and sides, and an imposing rear wing fixed to the C pillars.
Available colors include Chroma Flame, Polymimetic Gray, Race Red, Shadow Black, Frozen White and Lightning Blue, while Brembo brake calipers they can be in Grabber Blue, Race Red or gloss black.
The Performance Pack also includes a Lightweight package with magnesium wheels from 20 inches, with 325 mm tires at the front and 345 mm at the rear and a distinctive front grille. The engine is the 800 HP 5.2L V8 designed by Ford Performance with 8-speed dual clutch transmission.

The Mustang GTD’s cabin was designed to maximize performance through seamless interaction between driver and vehicle. THE Recaro seats as standard and the new racing steering wheel with carbon fiber inserts and Dinamica leather covering offer optimal comfort and control.
THE steering wheel controls they adjust suspension stiffness and exhaust mode, allowing drivers to customize the car’s response in corners and during acceleration. New buttons in the panel allow quick access to Track Apps for functions such as lifting the front axle, making it easier to manage in situations such as car parks and driveways.
The eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox with titanium paddle shifters allows precise management of over 800 HP of the supercharged V8 engine from 5.2 litres.
Price, how much does the Mustang GTD cost
The Mustang GTD is also available for pre-order in Europe via dedicated official website. Potential buyers can express their interest and hope to be selected to purchase one of the limited edition models.
The starting price is indicated around 370,000 euros, although the official price has not yet been confirmed. Production for the European market will begin in spring 2025.
