Scare in Serie A with a happy ending. Roma player Evan Ndicka collapsed in the 72nd minute of his team's match against Udinese, when the score was tied at one goal. The defender was taken on a stretcher and conscious to the locker room. However, the match was suspended after De Rossi returned from the dugout after learning of the Ivorian player's condition.
As seen in the images, Ndicka touched himself twice on the chest before collapsing to the grass. The referee, Luca Pairetto, upon realizing the situation, immediately stopped the game so that the footballer could be treated by the medical services of both teams.

The footballer was taken on a stretcher to the locker room conscious and making a gesture of approval with the thumb of his left hand, to the concern of everyone present. The Roman team stated that “he is conscious and has been taken to the hospital for tests.”
Roma coach Daniele De Rossi went into the locker room to find out the state of health of his players and when he returned to the pitch he asked the referee to suspend the match, after speaking with Udinese coach Gabriele Cioffi. Now we have to wait to find out when the match will resume, which will do so from the minute of its suspension with the result of 1-1, which had come with the goals from Pereyra in the 23rd minute and from Lukaku in the 64th minute.
The squad has visited Ndicka in hospital.

The good feelings were confirmed when Roma published in 'X' an image of the player, smiling and calm from the hospital. “The team has visited him, Evan feels better,” the Giallorossi posted, “and he is in a good mood. He will remain under observation in the hospital.
The first tests that the Roma footballer underwent ruled out that he had suffered a heart attack. Ndicka, who received a visit from his teammates and seemed cheerful, will remain under observation in the Udine hospital while Roma returned to the Italian capital. “Hurry up, we need Thursday,” coach De Rossi told his defense.
