Barcelona said on Monday on its websitethat 24-year-old Dembélé is among the 23 players who traveled to the Champions League match in Kiev.
The Kiev Dynamo will host Barcelona on Tuesday.
Frenchman Dembélé has been on the sidelines since the summer European Championships. News agency AFP said the attacker returned to his club for practice on October 11th.
He was operated on June 28 in Turku, and a surgeon Lasse Lempainen characterized the injury after surgery as a total tendon rupture of the hind legs.
In October, Dembélé also visited Lempainen for testing in Turku.
