Ciudad Juárez— The last flag raising ceremony of the 2021-2024 municipal administration took place this morning in the megaflag plaza.
At the event, Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar said that in the next administration “we will put in our best effort.”
“Today is a very significant day, having the privilege of being present at the flag-raising ceremony on the last day of the administration and on the eve of the 24-27 municipal administration beginning in front of the most beautiful flag in the world,” he said.
The event was attended by students from América and Fernando Ahuatzon elementary schools, as well as military personnel and municipal officials.
At the event, the mayor took the opportunity to bid farewell to the Director of Education, Martha Aracely González Holguín, as she will not be in office for the next period of the municipal administration that begins tomorrow, September 10.
