A couple of years ago one of Netflix’s most beloved series came out, Merlinawhich is a spinoff of The Addams Family in which we see the family’s daughter enter a kind of mystery adventure where she must discover a monster that is terrorizing the town near a prestigious school. And due to this success, the second season has been confirmed, but the recordings have taken longer than expected, which brings us to a photo recently uploaded to social networks.
The protagonist of the series herself, Jenna Ortega, has shared an image in which it is finally confirmed that they are recording the scenes of this second wave of episodes, wearing the outfits that we already know and thus they are basically telling us that the character will return to the school from the previous season. Beyond that, there are no messages about a first trailer or anything similar, unless they give us more information at the event. Netflix what is done in summer in Brazil.

Here is the synopsis of the series:
Merlina Addams is the sinister eldest daughter of the Addams family. At the beginning of her adolescence, she is admitted to the peculiar Nevermore Academy where she will seek to excel as a student. However, out of nowhere she will have to confront her newly discovered psychic ability, prevent a series of murders that have the local community in check, and try to discover what happened to her parents 25 years ago. All this while she fights the battles typical of a young woman her age. Based on the characters created by Charles Addams, ‘Merlina’ is a Netflix original series that is created by Al Gough and Miles Millar, and directed by popular fantasy director Tim Burton. The first season will have eight episodes that will be released on the platform at some point in 2021.
Remember that for now there is no release date for the second season. We will have to wait for future announcements, either during the Comic-Con of San Diego or similar events.

Author’s note: The first season seemed like Stranger Things but with a slightly different approach. So, let’s hope that things improve in terms of plot, because the performances are not bad at all.
