First days of Holy Week leave 4 drowned vacationers in Veracruz

Veracruz.- During the first days of the Easter holidays, in the state of Veracruz they have dead four vacationers by drowningas well as one more in a road accident and several injured.

Vacationer deaths started last monday april 11, when a man from the State of Mexico lost his life drowned on the beaches of Boca del Río. The Mexiquense perished after, after entering with his 14-year-old son, both were dragged by the waves of the sea.

Upon witnessing the event, a lifeguard from the tourist destination jumped into the salt water and, with the help of other tourists, managed to get the father and son out, however, the man no longer showed vital signs.

Meanwhile, on the river fallow, located in the municipality of Carrillo Puerto, two more tourists, also father and son, died of drowning. The bodies of both were rescued when they were already inert.

For its part, the past Wednesday April 13a 19-year-old young man who was with a group of friends in the La Guacamaya community, in the municipality of Chiconquiaco, after jumping into a pool, was unable to get out of the water, so after a search of around two hours, emergency elements managed to safeguard his lifeless body.

Meanwhile, this Friday the Civil Force Maritime Company managed to rescue a woman and three minors, who were dragged out to sea by the waves, when they were on the beaches of the municipality of Úrsulo Galván and Cazones de Herrera.

The people who were rescued by the elements of the Civil Force Maritime Company were taken to the beach, where they were given the necessary medical attention, while they were left in the care of their relatives.

Meanwhile, in the state of Warrioraccording to what was reported by the state Civil Protection Secretariat, so far in the current vacation period, the death of 3 swimmers in different points of the federative entity. Likewise, it was reported that almost 50 aquatic rescues have been attended.
