As all fans probably know, Final Fantasy XIV in the course of these months it has managed to gain such popularity that it has put the same in difficulty Square Enix who, worried about server congestion and long waiting lines to enter the game, finally decided not to make the game available anymore, at least until the situation improved. Well, today Square Enix announced that players will be able to purchase again Final Fantasy XIV, with the date set for January 25th.
Apparently, in fact, since the release of the latest expansion Endwalker – which has given shape to a real anomalous wave of gamers – to date, the Japanese company has worked to ensure greater stability of the servers.
This stability seems to have finally been achieved, thanks to several works carried out by the team to try to eliminate server congestion. In particular, Square Enix will open a new data center on January 25th which will primarily serve players from Australia and surrounding regions.
In fact, the latter were the most affected by the connection problems, but in any case the company has made it known that in the future it will also expand the North American and European data centers, given that even in the West the difficulties were certainly not lacking, with the works that should officially start this summer.
Furthermore, starting from January 26th, players will once again be able to transfer their characters to different servers, excellent news which will be followed by several other news that for the moment have not yet been revealed.
In short, it seems that the epic lived by all the fans of Final Fantasy XIV is about to come to an end, and we hope that starting on the date set by Square Enix the difficulties encountered are finally lifted, so that everyone can enjoy this huge MMO to the fullest.
