SQUARE ENIX has announced that the new PC benchmark is available from today FINAL FANTASY XIV: DAWNTRAIL. It will be possible to download it via official siteand thanks to it we will be able to check that our PC's performance is optimal even after the graphic improvements that will be made with the new expansion.
But that is not all. In fact, the benchmark has within it a new version of the character creation toolwhich will allow us not only to preview how the models have been improved but also to select the race for the first time Female Hrothgar.

LONDON (13 April 2024) – SQUARE ENIX® invites Warriors of Light to discover never-before-seen images of Dawntrail™ with the launch of the official FINAL FANTASY™ XIV: Dawntrail benchmark program for Windows, available for download today. The benchmark program includes new areas, enemies and other things added with the expansion and also offers a demonstration of the game's first graphics update, giving players the chance to test their PC's capabilities with FINAL FANTASY XIV before the release of Dawntrail, scheduled for Tuesday 2 July 2024.
The program allows you to create a character or import an existing one that will appear in the real-time benchmark videos. In addition to the playable races already existing in character creation, it will also be possible to create female Hrothgar, a new playable race that will make its debut in Dawntrail. Character appearance data created with the benchmark can also be saved for use in the Windows version of the game.

As part of the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE, producer and director Naoki Yoshida also talked about various updates and changes that will come out with the release of Dawntrail, along with the results of the recent 10th anniversary survey.
