Square Enix has announced a physical version Of Final Fantasy I – VI Pixel Remaster Collectionor the collection with the remastered versions of the first six chapters of the famous JRPG series. In reality, it had already been published in retail format in the past, but in extremely limited quantities, while this is a distribution on a larger scale.
The new copies will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch and PS4 (obviously backwards compatible with PS5) starting fromOctober 8th in North America and Europe, including Italy. You can purchase it through the Square Enix Store at this address or through authorized retailers, at the suggested price of 74.99 euros.
From the image that accompanied the announcement, we learn that these versions, in addition to the game disc or cartridge with case, will also include a set of stickers depicting the various protagonists of the games in the series.
As previously mentioned, the Pixel Remaster Collection is a bundle that includes Final Fantasy games 1 through 6 in remastered form, with each game boasting a Updated pixel art graphics and designed to adapt to modern screen resolutions. Some additional features have also been added extra featuressuch as the ability to disable random encounters, increase the experience points earned in combat. There are also some extras, represented by a bestiary, an image gallery and a music player.
