FIGC also becomes a media company. Gravina launches “Vivo Azzurro TV”. “Historic day”
“A feeling of pride that I feel at this moment and of strong emotion, it is a historic day for the FIGC which presents our digital platform which will be enriched with lots of content. The phrase ‘football like you’ve never seen it’, gives an idea of the value of this initiative, an extraordinary multidimensionality of football in knowing how to tell stories and above all excite”, the words of the president of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravinaduring the presentation of ‘Vivo Azzurro TV’the FIGC digital platform that he proposes original, unpublished and exclusive content from the Italian national football teams.
“In recent months and years we have been confronted with some words that in every period come out such as innovation, reforms, change, now autonomy is in fashion, which give the idea of a continuous confrontation of some components that resist this idea of change radical, but the FIGC never wanted to give up its drive for innovation. We did it with the strategic plan from a financial point of view, we do it today by transforming a media factory into a media company. Another piece to that concept imported from Italian literature. We like the idea that the Federation could launch a project of this kind to make new aspects of football known. We want to show that there is more than penalties or debts,” added Gravina.
“It is an important development plan that the FIGC presents. An extraordinary result, a container that will talk about the embrace of the base, up to the emotions of the Italian national teams, the prison project, the paralympic and experimental division, the only ones in the world to have it. We are talking about a digital ecosystem that can count on another platform called ‘sostenibilia’ which concerns sustainability. Today the Federation proves that it is not just a building but also a soul that is transformed into a large sporting community. We want to be a mirror in which Italy is happy to see itself, to see itself, why not, even more beautiful than what is sometimes painted”.
