Ferrari confirms itself as winner at Le Mans
It hadn’t been unlocked yet Ferrari in WEC 2024 despite an enviable speed and ability to adapt to different types of circuits. She succeeded in the most important event, the one where she had already returned to success in the premier class a year ago, the 24 hours of Le Mans.
It had been 90 years since the same manufacturer had won at both Monaco and Le Mans and it was the Scuderia from Maranello that did it. A result that can only fill the manager with pride Antonello Coletta.
“Returning to Le Mans and confirming ourselves as winners, obtaining the eleventh overall success in the history of the Prancing Horse, is something extraordinary, the result of great team work which testifies to how last year’s victory was not at all a coincidence – Coletta’s words – finally at the fourth round of a 2024 season where, until now, we had not managed to climb to the top step of the podium, we returned to victory in the most important test of the year: a result that fills us with pride.
