Ferrari debuted the new simulator to prepare for the Jeddah race. The Scuderia, therefore, used for the first time the new Dynisma instrument that was set up in the new glass building that was built between the Gestione Sportiva and the Fiorano track.
This was revealed by Mattia Binotto, while in the initial plans of the Cavallino this “first” was scheduled for Abu Dhabi …
“The reality is that we have already used it for the last weekend. We anticipated a race: to tell the truth we didn’t think we could and, instead, we got to a point where we can already use it to prepare Jeddah. We had the opportunity to gain experience and conclude the commissioning and fine-tuning part of the simulator itself and the correlation with the previous one in order to be able to carry out the planned tests “.

What more did the new simulator give?
“He didn’t give anything more at this point, because we are still in the fine-tuning phase. But it is a simulator that will give us a superior performance, because we think that its realism with respect to the track is greater thanks to a more precise correlation of the data. It will be an evolution of the current one and there will be an improvement, but for how we are using it today it imposes equal conditions, knowing that we will be able to push further with its potential in the future ”.

The Dynisma Motion Generator simulator offers maximum bandwidth with minimum latency by integrating software with hardware, removing any possible obstacles between the pilot and data acquisition. This new tool, therefore, represents a strategic resource for the Cavallino which in 2022 will have a rather innovative cutting-edge solution.
