Covered by RTVE, the film starts its filming this Saturday in Molina de Segura under the title ‘Last wills’
The desire of a father to regain the love of his son, whom he abandoned as a child, is the central idea of the Murcian film starring Fernando Tejero, Nerea Camacho and Álex Monner, among other actors, which this Saturday will begin filming in Molina de Segura.
The film, the first long-term film project by the Murcian Joaquín Carmona Hidalgo and entitled ‘Last wills’, will continue its recording over the next five weeks visiting different locations in the Region, including the Old Prison of Cartagena , the church of San Agustín de Fuente Álamo, the cemetery of the district of Valentín Ceheginera and other spaces, both public and private, of Murcia, Calasparra and Molina de Segura.
Pavilion 2 of the Murcia Artillery Barracks hosted the presentation of the project on Thursday, which has the support of Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) and is “one of the bets” of this channel for next year, according to the team of the film, which is also supported by 7TV Región de Murcia, the Municipalities of Molina and Fuente Álamo, the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA) and other firms such as Auxiliar Conservera, ElPozo Alimentación, Primafrío, Estrella de Levante, Sercomosa, La Boca bundles you, LAT Buses, El Churra Hotels and Salazones Garre.
‘Last wills’ is an “ambitious” project, with a budget of more than one million euros. The Murcian production companies Biopic Films and Maskeline, a Visual Foundry; and the Catalan La Charito Films, with Diego Rodríguez and Ferrán Tomás.
Starring the popular Fernando Tejero, in the role of father, and on whose credit there is a Goya award for best revelation actor for his work in ‘Football Days’, in 2003, the film brings a long list of actors before the camera of the Region, which includes, among others, Pepa Aniorte, Salvador Serrano, Toni Medina, Alfredo Zamora, Fran Abellán, Eva Torres, Ornella Cirese, Alberto García Tormo, Manuel Menárguez, Sara Álvarez, Inma Rufete, César Oliva and Manuel of Kings; as well as the aforementioned Nerea Camacho, Goya for best new actress in 2009 for ‘Camino’; and Álex Monner, and Alberto San Juan, awarded in the last edition of the Academy Awards as best supporting actor for ‘Sentimental’.
San Juan has another statuette for best leading actor for his role in ‘Under the stars’ (2007). As for the technical team, it is made up of about a hundred people both from the Region and from other Spanish cities.
