Femicides by firearm increased in Mexico during the last decade

In the last decade from 2010 to 2020 around a million women have suffered some type of violence in Mexico, firearms have been the main instrument of attack in recent years.

According to the Brazilian Institute dedicated to security and development issues at the Latin American level Igarapé, during the last ten years has increased almost 500 percent.
