A woman at the head of Maserati Corse. This is the news coming from Modena: from October 1st, Maria Conti will take up the position of Head of Maserati Corse, reporting directly to Davide Grasso, CEO of Maserati, and functionally to Jean-Marc Finot, Senior VP, Stellantis Motorsport.
Maria takes over from Giovanni Sgro who has led the Trident brand’s return to the world of racing with great commitment, competing on the track in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and the Fanatec GT2 European Series.

Maria Conti has over twenty years of consolidated experience in Communication in the automotive and lifestyle sector at an international level. Previously, she held the role of Chief Communication Officer for the House of the Trident, after a professional path at iconic, premium and luxury brands.
Now, after returning from maternity leave, Maria is the first woman to head Maserati’s motorsport activities: a new commitment, in a role that she will have to discover but which she will face with passion.
