The plot of Fast X
—
Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) has created a family during the saga of Fast & Furious, started in 2001. Who knows how many kilometers he’s covered? In this tenth and perhaps last episode, he will have to do everything to defend her from Dante (Jason Momoa), son of the ruthless Brazilian drug boss Hernan Reyes, killed by Toretto on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro in the fifth Fast & Furious. Reyes’ son has returned for revenge and hatched a diabolical plan to destroy Dom’s family, including his eight-year-old son.
Fast X racing cars in Rome
—
The racing cars of the film crossed the streets of Rome. And the set of Fast X is certainly not new: it had already happened to Tom Cruise/Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 7 (which will soon be in the cinema), to Keanu Reeves in John Wick 2 and to James Bond in Specter. Now whizzing along via Veneto, Lungotevere Aventine, the Imperial Forums, via Cristoforo Colombo and via dei Coronari are the cars of one of the longest-running and most successful sagas of recent years. Some scenes were also filmed in Turin, such as a chase between the cars of the Carabinieri and Toretto’s Dodge Charger R/T. In addition to the legendary car, other super-fast jewels will be protagonists such as the Hellcat Widebody, the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Alfa Romeo 2000 GT, in homage to the made in Italy automotive culture.
