The first The Legend of Zelda It is one of the most important games, not only from Nintendo, but in history. Although the Japanese company has only limited itself to giving the public the opportunity to experience this installment through re-releases, A fan has set out to create a remake, which looks quite interesting.
Through his official YouTube account, the user known as Lloyd Empty has taken on the task of creating a remake of the first The Legend of Zelda, with a style similar to that seen in the remake of Link’s Awakening which arrived on the Switch in 2019. This job has a couple of differences, such as the fact that you need to solve a small puzzle to get the sword at the beginning, but what is presented here is still impressive.
The Lloyd Empty remake is being created using Unreal Engine, as well as FMOD, Blender, and Gimp. To avoid any kind of legal problem with Nintendo, it has been revealed that there are no plans for a public demo, and it is unknown if once this project is finished, players will have the opportunity to experience this work firsthand. For now, we can only admire this great initiative. On related topics, this is the price of The Legend of Zelda LEGO set. Likewise, details of the supposed game in the series starring Zelda emerge.
Author’s Note:
This remake looks incredible, and it is something that many probably want to see officially in the future. Unfortunately, it seems that this will never be the case. Although the remake of Link’s Awakening was positive, it seems that Nintendo has no intentions of doing the same in the future.
