Family tragedy, Pasquale Tufano dies stabbed at the hands of his sister: where and what happened

Brutal murder in Ciampino, on the outskirts of Rome. Here, in fact, yesterday evening a family quarrel became the unforeseeable, the most dramatic event. A very bad argument turned into murder. The victim, Pasquale Tufano, 67 years old, was shot by his sister Amelia, 64 years old. The woman inflicted several fatal blows to the man’s abdomen and back.

There mother of the two, present in another room of the apartment, remained unharmed. It was a clash that culminated in an unpredictable way between brother and sister. The dramatic event occurred around 7pm on Sunday 29 September, in an apartment on viale Kennedy at number 68.

The carabinieri of the Castel Gandolfo company and the Ciampino headquarters intervened on site and are conducting the investigations to clarify the details of the matter. It seems that it was Amelia, the deceased man’s sister, who raised the first alarm, followed by reports from some neighbors who heard the screams coming from the house.

Based on a first reconstructionAmelia would have grabbed a kitchen knife and would have thrown herself at her brother. At this point the sister would have repeatedly hit Tufano. The man, seriously injured, collapsed to the floor in the kitchen and was soon lifeless. When the 118 rescuers arrived, there was nothing left for him to do.

Pasquale, who was a surveyor by profession, took care of his elderly mother, aged 90, and his sister, with whom he shared the house. After the forensic findings, Amelia Tufano she was arrested on charges of voluntary homicide and taken to the barracks, on the orders of the Velletri Prosecutor’s Office. Pasquale’s body was transported to the Tor Vergata forensic medicine institute, where an autopsy will be performed after authorization from the prosecutor’s office.
