F3 | Bahrain Test, Day 2: Hadjar flies in the morning and is the leader

Isack Hadjar was fastest at the end of the second day of FIA Formula 3 testing in Bahrain.

The driver of the Hitech Grand Prix stopped the clock at 1’47 “516 during the morning session, a time that no one was able to beat.

In second place was Victor Martins thanks to his 1’47 “602, with the guy from the ART Grand Prix who soared in the afternoon in 1’48” 250.

Third was Jonny Edgar (Trident), followed by Gregoire Saucy (ART) and Juan Manuel Correa, who was absent yesterday due to a tampon that had not given a valid result to get him out on the track on Wednesday.

Zane Maloney, the fastest yesterday, brings his Trident sixth in 1’47 “904, with Zak O’Sullivan (Carlin) behind.

Arthur Leclerc’s Prema is only 11th with a time of 1’48 “024 set by the Monegasque at the start of practice.

An engine problem – with the start of a fire – forced Enzo Trulli to the pits for most of the morning; the young man from Carlin, once the car was put back in place, was able to get back into action in the afternoon, but not going beyond 29th place.

Here, as mentioned, the fastest was Martins, behind Roman Stanek (1’48 “379), Hadjar, Saucy and Alexander Smolyar (ART).

A red flag put an end to the work on the track 9 ‘early, which will resume on Friday.
