On the weekend hosting the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, Pirelli announced the compounds it will bring to the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, Canada and Great Britain.
Starting from the fact that the three compounds will always be recognizable by the white (Hard), yellow (Medium) and red (Soft) bands, the Italian Cas, the sole supplier of F1 tires, has chosen among the 5 options for the current season which of these will be available to the teams for the three events.
For the Azerbaijan Grand Prix which, as usual, will be held in Baku, Pirelli will bring the following compounds:
Pirelli PZero White Hard C3
Pirelli PZero Yellow Medium C4
Pirelli PZero Red Soft C5
For the Canadian Grand Prix, which will also be held on this occasion at Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Pirelli will always bring the softer compounds of its range, therefore:
Pirelli PZero White Hard C3
Pirelli PZero Yellow Medium C4
Pirelli PZero Red Soft C5
For the British Grand Prix, which will be hosted by the historic Silverstone track, the Italian tire manufacturer will instead bring the hardest compounds in its range, given the nature of the British track:
Pirelli PZero White Hard C1
Pirelli PZero Yellow Medium C2
Pirelli PZero Red Soft C3
In this case there are no compound jumps as we had seen for the Australian Grand Prix (the drivers had C2, C3 and C5 at their disposal).
