Monaco, France.- Sergio.Michel Pérez Mendoza withdrew from the Monaco Grand Prix due to a terrible accident caused by a blow to the rear tire on the first lap at the Monte Carlo Circuit on Sunday.
The Mexican’s ‘RB20’ hit the wall after being intercepted by the front tire of the Dane, Kevin Magnussen, whom ‘Checo’ Pérez complained about for ruining his race.

However, Haas driver Kevin Magnussen blamed Sergio Pérez for the accident in Monaco, as did his teammate Nico Hülkenberg, who also did not continue in the competition for the same reason.
«He was very tight between ‘Checo’ and Kevin, it is a first-round maneuver and I think Kevin (Magnussen) could have avoided it, but ‘Checo’ was also able to give him a little more space; Obviously he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and that’s how my career ended too.
«Normally you have to leave enough space for another car to pass; but since we are running so tight, at the beginning of the week. “They are races and it is the first lap,” he told Fox Sports.
For his part, Sergio Pérez spoke out after the accident, which was very dangerous and totally unnecessary, since on the Monaco track it is almost impossible to overtake.
