BEWARE OF SAINZ!
Sainz takes first position with the medium tire! The Spanish driver stopped the clock at 1.17.444, followed by his teammate, Charles Leclerc. Behind, Alonso is 3rd on the soft tire. We’ll see if it’s enough for the Asturian to make the cut!

The cars have already taken to the track!
Be careful because Max Verstappen seemed to be in trouble! I was starting in Neutral from the Pit Lane, even though it all seems like a small setback. The first to set time will be Pérez, while Alonso and Sainz are preparing their first lap.

Sainz: “long runs feel good”
“Especially the long runs feel good. I think that when it comes to qualifying, we will have a lot of challenges from our competitors. And yes, in a return, it will be a close battle.

Alonso: “I hope to be fine for Sunday”
The Spaniard was able to participate in the last two free practice sessions of this Mexican GP and explained his feelings. “I feel good. I haven’t been 100% physically the last few days, but I hope that by Sunday I will be fine. This circuit is also not very demanding in terms of G forces and high speed,” explained Alonso. The Spaniard told his objective for the day. “It was a mixture of timing with a Pirelli test and I think we cannot have any conclusions yet, so the classification will tell the truth,” he said.
