Ferrari will have a modification that is not visible, but which should ensure better behavior of the SF-24 in certain corners, ensuring greater traction for the red. It’s nothing sensational, but just an adaptation of the rear suspension which was supposed to be part of the Imola upgrade package and which wasn’t even seen in Monte Carlo.
Inside the gearbox it is difficult to take a look even for a very attentive observer like Giorgio Piolabut according to the rumors filtered by Maranello, in addition to the adaptations of the SF-24 to the characteristics of the Canadian track, the red one will have slightly different internal rear suspension kinematics which will open up the range of setup adjustments.

New bars would have been approved to improve the Ferrari’s behavior in the delicate phase of acceleration out of long, slow corners, where the red car suffers the most.
The intention, according to the simulations resulting from the work carried out at home, is to compete with the two rivals, Red Bull and McLaren. The Scuderia comes from Charles Leclerc’s success and Carlos Sainz’s podium in the Principality, so it is normal that the fans expect to repeat the Monaco victory in Montreal, but in the Prancing Horse team everyone escapes the role of favourites, preferring that of challengers, to relieve some of the inevitable pressure.

As we anticipated, Enrico Cardile has regained full operational functionality after the motorbike accident that forced him to miss the trip to the Enzo e Dino Ferrari where the Scuderia had introduced the first major update of the season.
The technical director of the chassis area seems to have been happy with the offer received from Aston Martin (where there is a rather large enclave of the Prancing Horse) and is evaluating the proposal from the Silverstone team even if he is very busy following the design of the SF-25, a single-seater that will not be the evolution of this car, given that it has been decided to adopt the pull rod front suspension and the body will be redone not only to adapt the attachments to the new layout, but also to change the dynamics of the vehicle, following the addresses shown by McLaren.
In short, for Lewis Hamilton’s arrival in Ferrari, Maranello wants to make the maximum effort, perhaps coming forward with solutions that will then also be good for the 2026 single-seater which will be created with the new rules. And Cardile, in the meantime, is perhaps expecting a counter-offer from the Cavallino to stay where he is, given that those who have made a career within the Racing Department do not receive similar economic treatments to those of those who come from outside…
