The world leader in audit services, EY strengthens its positioning in Galicia with the incorporation of Pelayo Novoa as managing partner of the firm in the offices of A Coruña and Vigo. A responsibility that will be compatible with the leadership of the Strategy & Transactions (SaT) practice for this same community, directed at the national level by partner Juan López del Alcázar.
Novoa assumes leadership of EY in the community and joins its current team, composed of Manuel PestanaEY Audit partner, and by Marcos Piñeiro, partner at EY Abogados. The new head of the EY offices in Galicia studied Business at the University of Vigo and at IESE.
He began his professional career in Arthur Andersen and years later he created his own professional services firm until its merger with BDO, where he has been managing partner of Galicia and leader of the Deal Advisory practice in this same region.
Novoa has nearly 30 years of experience providing corporate finance, alternative financing and restructuring services to local and multinational companies. It is specialized in the fitness industry and the fishing sector.
