Ex-NATO adviser: US military support may not reach Ukraine
The money allocated by the United States for Ukraine may not reach Kyiv. Ex-NATO adviser, Colonel Jacques Beau spoke about this in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
“If we look at this bailout package, we see that it primarily benefits the US military-industrial complex,” he said.
According to the expert, this means that funds from it will be directed not to Ukraine, but to the States themselves in the first place. Ostensibly to help produce more weapons.
In all likelihood, for this reason, US foreign policy is aimed at supporting one side or another in conflicts around the world, Jacques Beau suggested.
Earlier it became known that the Senate, following a vote, passed a bill on foreign assistance to Washington’s allies, including Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Thus, both houses of Congress approved the project. Now it will go to US President Joe Biden for signature.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal said that Kyiv was counting on new assistance from the United States. He clarified that last week he met with American senators.
