Over the years, Return Digital has become one of the most important companies in the industry, supporting hundreds of independent teams to publish games. In this way, for some time now they have carried out the famous Devolver Direct, an irreverent presentation that, between jokes, reveals important information about some of the projects that they will bring into our hands, and 2024 was no exception.
During this year’s Devolver Direct we saw a series of irreverent jokes about the video game industry and all those who enjoy this medium of art and entertainment, but a rather strange and psychological horror storybut we also witnessed multiple revelations that fans liked.
To begin with, it has been revealed that Cult of the Lamb, which hit the market in 2022, has exceeded four million units sold, a quite impressive number. This was not all, since we had a new trailer for Unholy Alliancethe new expansion that adds a cooperative mode, will be available on August 12.

It was confirmed some time ago that DLC Talos Principle II is in development, and during the Devolver Direct we got a new look at this puzzle game that will test each player’s mental abilities. The Talos Principle II: Road to Elysium It will be available on June 14.

Those were all the announcements for Devolver Direct 2024. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a new look at The Plucky Squire, one of the most anticipated games from Devolver Digital. On related topics, you can check out the Summer Game Fest summary here.
Author’s Note:
This was a good year for the company. Despite the absence of The Plucky SquireI prefer Tenjutsua roguelike that looks very interesting, and that I can’t wait to play when it is available in the future.
