Finland The Rasmus has been chosen as the Eurovision Song Contest Jezebel. Eurovision will take place this year from 10 to 14 May in Turin. The Finnish visa representative was chosen at the New Music Competition (UMK) held at Turku Logomo on Saturday.
The Rasmus received a total of 310 points, and the band received the most votes from both the audience and international expert panels. 75 percent of the votes came from viewers, 25 percent from international expert panels. Representatives from a total of seven countries were casting votes in international councils this year.

Last year, Finland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest by the rock band Blind Channel Dark Side. At the Eurovision Song Contest, it achieved the second best ranking in Finnish history by finishing sixth in the final. The best place is held by Lord, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006.
