During an interview with Vanity Fair, the interpreter said that on the first day of recording she was asked to undress her, to which she ended up telling the writer and director of the program, Sam Levisonthat they needed to make a change in the script.
As seen above, the actress who plays Cassie, Sydney Sweeney, would also have had problems with some nude scenes. However, like Kelly, they both made it clear that Levinson always put their comfort first.

What was the scene that made Minka Kelly uncomfortable?
The scene takes place in the second season of the hit hbo max, in which Kelly’s character Samantha asks Maddy, played by Alexa Demie, to help her unbutton her dress. “Levinson thought it would be more interesting if my dress fell to the ground. That was my first day as a guest on this new show, and I just didn’t feel comfortable standing there naked.”.

Happily, the creator was always open to making adjustments to fit Kelly’s comfort. “I said, ‘I’d love to do this scene, but I think I can keep the dress.’ He was like, ‘Okay!’ He didn’t even hesitate, and he shot a beautiful scene as he got exactly what he wanted,” Kelly explained.
