“The last time I was there was in 2001, so a long time ago! It’s a demanding and technical track. I can’t wait to see the Spanish fans too and to race.”

The results obtained in Hungary have allowed Romeo Ferraris to show the potential of its Giulia ETCR and the line-up set up for the 2022 edition of the Electric Turismo series.
This also applies to Luca Filippi, who was hit by an opposing car in the DHL Super Final of the “Furious” pool in Budapest, but up to that moment experiencing constant progression.
“I’m very ready to go to Jarama! – says the Piedmontese – I’ve never been there, so I’m very curious to see how it is. It looks like a technical track and it will be a very hot weekend. Potentially, we can repeat the good positive results of the ‘Hungary and we will start from there “.
The Italian team presents itself in Jarama, tracked on the outskirts of the capital Madrid and already home to the Formula 1 Grand Prix, occupying the second place in the ranking with 272 points.
The goal will be to give continuity to the moment and to hit, for the first time this year, the palm of “King of the Weekend” with one of its standard bearers.
The FIA ETCR event in Jarama will be part of the “Next Generation Festival” dedicated to electric mobility, and after Friday free practice the challenge will go live on Saturday morning with the qualifying rounds, from 9:30 for the “Fast” pool “and from 12:30 for the” Furious “pool.

Michela Cerruti, Romeo Ferraris Team Principal: “Having two consecutive rounds on weekends always involves a greater level of challenge, given the limited time for travel and preparation between one race and another”.
“However, we are going to Jarama with great confidence, given the results obtained at the Hungaroring in which we became the first constructor in addition to Cupra to get on the podium in the 2022 season”.
“Above all, we have obtained the answers we were looking for on our competitiveness, after the unfavorable episodes of Pau. Now we want to continue on the path we have taken and go even further, in the hunt for the title of” King of the Weekend “for the first time this year” .
“We know we have the means to do so and together with our drivers we will work on all possible aspects to increase our chances”.
