RCD Espanyol and Jofre Carreras have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract until June 30, 2029. Jofre, who this season is being one of the most outstanding players of the blue and white team, will continue to be linked to the club of his life, which he arrived at as a second-year child.
Jofre has participated in 12 games this season in which he has scored two goals, in addition to participating in several more of those scored by the team. The player from Girona made his debut on January 31, 2021 in the First Division, although it was last year when he made the definitive jump to the first team wearing the number ’17’.
Jofre is one of the banners of the team, one of the references of La21
Jofre is one of the team’s banners, one of the La21 leaders, a player trained in blue and white grassroots football and who has not hesitated to publicly transmit his love for the parakeet team. With this renewal, RCD Espanyol ensures the continuity of a player who, as it recently recognized, has great room for improvement.
Jofre’s growth this season is undoubted. After he was a foot and a half away from the club at the beginning of last season, the sports management managed to retain him to be an important man in the second division. Despite suffering serious setbacks personally, the winger has taken advantage of the opportunity and has been a fixture for all his coaches.
