The Israeli leadership will not be able to escape responsibility for its crimes, and the country's leader Benjamin Netanyahu can be compared to Hitler. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced this on April 23, his words were quoted by the state agency Anadolu.
“We will continue to expose the truth and expose Israel's killings. We need to know that the current Hitler, Netanyahu, and his accomplices will not be able to escape responsibility. No matter how far he runs, we will follow him,” he said.
Erdogan also stressed that crimes against the “innocent and oppressed” will be judged by “history or justice.” He also noted that attacks by Israeli forces on members of the media further confirm the country's government's dissatisfaction with the facts and the desire to “erase traces of its massacres and hide evidence of genocide.”
“It is incomprehensible that hundreds of members of the press were killed in this way, while the world remains silent,” the Turkish leader concluded.
Earlier, on April 16, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Israel of provocations in order to expand the geography of the Middle East crisis to the entire region. During a cabinet meeting, the Turkish leader raised the topic of Iran's drone and ballistic missile attacks on Israel on April 13 and noted that what happened showed both the double standards of the West and the likelihood of a war that could engulf the entire region.
After the air strikes on Israel, the President of the Jewish State, Isaac Herzog, said that the Iranian attack was a declaration of war. Later it became known that Israel intends to create a regional coalition against the threat posed by Iran.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7 last year, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected Israeli territory to massive rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, and also invaded the border areas in the south of the country and took hostages. That same day, Israel began retaliating against targets in the Gaza Strip.
