The government decided to postpone the CPNU (Unified National Public Competition) test, the so-called “Enem dos Concursos”, due to of the heavy rains that hit Rio Grande do Sul. The application was scheduled for next Sunday, the 5th, and the new date has not yet been defined.
“Due to the public calamity in Rio Grande do Sul, the Unified National Public Competition will be postponed throughout the country. The new date will be announced as soon as there are climatic and logistical conditions to apply the test throughout the national territory”, announced, in a note, the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services
The storm affected 235 municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul. There are 23,598 people displaced, 74 people injured and another 74 missing. Currently, there are 7,949 citizens in shelters. As of Friday afternoon, the number of deaths due to the rains was 37 people.
The CPNU would be applied simultaneously this Sunday in 228 cities across the country. In total, more than 2.1 million candidates registered to compete for 6,640 vacancies in 21 federal agencies.
