Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued lambs and calves from a fire that occurred in the village of Shelkovskaya in the Chechen Republic. This was stated in the department’s message on the Telegram channel on April 21.
It is specified that the house, warehouse, barn and hay caught fire. The fire area was 300 square meters. m.
“Specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations brought seven lambs and six calves out of the smoke-filled barn into fresh air, and also prevented the flames from spreading to nearby buildings,” the report says.
10 employees and two units of special equipment took part in extinguishing the fire.
On April 19, it was reported that in the Birsky district of Bashkiria, 80 sheep, eight calves and 50 chickens died as a result of a fire. The owner managed to remove another 20 sheep from the burning building. Previously, the cause of the fire could have been a car battery left charging.
