The Emirates School Education Foundation has approved the timetables for the exams at the end of the third semester, “the end of the current academic year” 2023-2024, for students in grades three through twelfth, in public and private schools that follow the Ministry of Education’s curriculum.
The end-of-year exams are scheduled to begin next Wednesday, June 5, in Group (A) subjects, which includes the basic subjects, and will continue until the 14th of the same month. The final exams are preceded by the submission of final assignments and projects for Group (B) subjects in the period from May 29 to 4. Next June.
The institution has identified 8 guidelines for the end-of-semester tests of the third semester of the current academic year 2023-2024, which are applying the exams on paper for the third and fourth grades through physical attendance at the school, and applying the exams on paper and electronically for the fifth and ninth grades for the two tracks (general and advanced) in attendance at the school, and applying the exams. Paper and electronically, according to subject and grade, for grades five to twelve, through physical attendance at school for all students in public and private education schools that implement the Ministry’s curriculum.
Twelfth grade students enrolled in private education schools take all their exams in public public education schools under joint supervision and coordination with the school branch coordinators. Twelfth grade students registered in Tolerance schools also take all their exams in accordance with the school branch directives.
In the guidelines, the institution stressed the importance of students adhering to the official school uniform, and urged students to bring their computers to school during the exam period, and the English language exam for the twelfth grade is written electronically.
According to the approved schedules, twelfth grade students, for various educational tracks (general, advanced, and elite), will begin their exams next June 5, with the English language subject in two periods, “writing and reading,” electronically, followed by the mathematics subject, “written and electronic,” on the 6th of that month.
Students in the general and advanced tracks take the exam in health sciences on Friday, the 7th of the same month, while elite students take the exam in biology on the same day, and students in all tracks take the physics exam on Monday, June 10, “in writing and electronically,” in two periods.
Students are scheduled to take the Arabic language exam (paper and electronic) on the 11th of the same month, and to take the exam in the social studies subject on Wednesday the 12th of that month, and the Islamic education subject on the 13th of the same month, so that the students of the applied track will conclude and the rest of the tracks will continue.
Twelfth grade “general” students will conclude the exam race on the 14th, with chemistry or biology, while “advanced and elite” students will conclude with chemistry only on the same day.
As for the students of the applied track, they will take the English language exam “writing and reading” electronically on the 5th of next June, then applied mathematics on the 6th of that month, followed by applied sciences on the 10th of the same month, then the Arabic language on the 11th of that month, and they will take the exam in social studies on the 12th of June. The same month, they conclude with Islamic education on the 13th.
The institution reported that the duration of the test is two and a half hours, divided into two parts, one and a half hours for the writing test, and one hour for reading, with the exams starting at 12 noon for the secondary stage and continuing until 2:30.
