The initiative is of great importance as it is directed to support the national trend to inspire young people and future generations in the space sector, which is a fundamental pillar for building a knowledge economy that supports sustainable development.
The initiative, which comes within the framework of the celebration of the golden jubilee of the UAE, targets more than 10,000 students from schools all over the country, specifically primary school students, to give them the opportunity to express their vision of the country in the next fifty years through the postcards that have been allocated for this initiative.
Upon receipt of the cards from the students, they will be transferred to space and stamped to be returned to the students as a souvenir on the occasion of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the UAE, which succeeded in entering strongly into the global space race and began field visits to various schools in the country since November 28.
The Emirates Post Group will also invite students to visit the main customer happiness centers of Emirates Post to inform them of the importance of the postal and logistic sector in the country, in addition to organizing “space postcards” workshops.
