Late on Thursday, the City Council of the Valencian municipality of Sot de Chera informed the CCE of the preventive eviction of 50 people from the lower area of ​​the town.

According to 112, the eviction was communicated at night to the Emergency Coordination Center by the town council of the Los Serranos region, in the middle Turia basin. “The status of the Buseo reservoir dam is being monitored and remains in Situation 2,” the emergency services have also reported. The Buseo reservoir is located in the interior of the province of Valencia, 50 kilometers from the capital and near the town of Chera.

According to data from the Valencian Meteorological Association (Avamet), the maximum rainfall records in the last hours of the night have been 55.4 liters per square meter in Miramar; Olive, 53.4; Gandia, 45.7 and Font d’En Carrós, 36.6, all in the province of València.
