Elvis Presley’s childhood home to be auctioned off in Mississippi

The house in the city of Tupelo will be put up for auction in August 2022. The starting price ranges from 30 thousand to 50 thousand dollars (more than 2.6 million rubles). Presley lived there with his parents from 1943 to 1944. They tried to sell the object back in 2020, but the buyer was not found.
The house is in a disassembled state – in 2017 it was carefully dismantled and placed in a trailer. Initially, they planned to demolish the building and find a use for the land, but collectors bought the house. The new owner will receive a complete kit including assembly drawings. The assembled housing reaches 117 square meters, inside there are three bedrooms.
In December 2020, the Presley mansion was put up for sale in the California city of Palm Springs – the singer rented it in 1966 and soon spent his honeymoon there with his wife Priscilla Bewley. The owners of the object asked for 2.5 million dollars for it (at that time more than 186 million rubles).
