The candidate for President of Mexico for the Citizen Movement party, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, announced that he would close the campaign with a mega concert in Mexico City (CDMX), which he called ‘Máynez Capital Fest’.
Although it had been rumored that he would cancel his campaign closing in solidarity with the people who died at a party event in Nuevo León, Máynez announced the event through his social networks.
According to the publication, Jorge Álvarez Máynez seeks to thank those he calls for their support, who made his presidential campaign possible, the young people:
“I will never forget that this campaign was changed by young people. When old politics told us it was impossible, they made it possible. To thank the young people, we will close the campaign with a festival in their honor and to thank them.”

He ‘Máynez Capital Fest will take place on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Black Berry Auditorium From Mexico City. This festival promises to be a diverse cultural gathering, with a lineup of 9 artists spanning genres ranging from rap to alternative rock.
The event poster includes notable artists like Aczino, Porter, Penny Pacheco, and others, who will offer their talent in this political-cultural event. The highlight of the event is expected to be the speech by the candidate himself, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, addressed to the assembled audience.
