Elden Ring includes an easter egg from Game of Thrones

George R.R. Martin was commissioned to write lore for Elden Ring, so it was expected that this game would have a couple of easter eggs about the most famous work of the writer: Game of Thrones. Just a few days have passed since its official launch, and players have already found one of these references in one of the weapons within the title.

We are talking about the Grafted Blade Greatsword, a gigantic sword made up of dozens of small swords combined into one. Its design is a clear reference to the Throne from Iron from Game of Thrones, and then you can see it for yourself:

To get it, players must defeat Leonine Musbegotten, one of the many bosses in the game that you can find in Castle Morne, located in Weeping Peninsula. After defeating him you can get this sword, although you will need 40 strength points to use it effectively.

Publisher’s note: I have a feeling there will be more Game of Thrones easter eggs scattered throughout the world of the Elden Ring. In addition to this reference, fans also discovered another to Berserk, the manga by the late Kentaro Miura, and who knows what other secrets remain to be discovered.
