Rabbit & Bear Studio confirmed that he already has a sequel planned for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. During an AMA session held on Reddit, a user asked the studio if the recent disappearance of Yoshitaka Murayama influenced in some way the possibility of developing a second chapter for the franchise and the company responded as follows:
“We are in the process of making a sequel. It's really sad that Murayama is no longer with us, but we discussed so many ideas with him. I really hope we can carry on his legacy, and we will always carry his latest work in our hearts. I hope many people will support this game.”
At the moment this is only a confirmation, but no substantial information has been released on this possible sequel.
I remind you that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be available worldwide next April 23 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The title will also be available for free to all subscribers of Xbox Game Pass.
