Having a minimum level of Castilian language, mathematics or digitalization will be sufficient requirements to access professional training (FP) from now on. According to the new decree of evaluation and accreditation of the powers, approved on Tuesday in the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Education thus enrolls the enrollment to the FP cycles with the objective of “Raise the training level of the adult population” and “guarantee equity and equal opportunities.”
“This initiative will allow those citizens that accredit having reached a minimum level in Castilian language, mathematics and digitalizationbut they do not have the necessary academic degree, they can access the professional training system, thus improving their opportunities in the workplace, “says the department led by Pilar Alegría, which estimates in more than ten million people who can benefit from this extent.
To prove these powers, the decree establishes a process consisting of a first registration phase; a second, in which the applicants will be evaluated After providing “evidence” of that knowledge or undergoing a specific test; and a third phase of resolution and accreditation. The latter, they count from education, will be accompanied by professional orientation, which will design “personalized training itineraries” to each applicant within the FP system.
All these efforts will be made In the educational centers for adults, those of professional training or at the headquarters of those authorized collaborating entities by the autonomous administration. “This new advance is part of the process of transformation and modernization of the professional training system promoted by the Government of Spain in recent years and has had an investment of more than 6,500 million euros,” says the Ministry.
Until now, The requirements to access the FP varied according to the level of the training cycle to which it was decided to enter. For the basic FP, for example, it was required to be between 15 and 17, having taken at least up to 3rd of ESO and having a recommendation of the teaching team. For medium -degree cycles, the demands were to be graduated in that, to have a basic FP title or, failing that, have exceeded a specific access test addressed to those people with at least 17 years. As for the higher degree, it was required to have the Baccalaureate title, have a medium -degree technician title or have exceeded a specific test for which it is required to be at least 19 years old.
