In the night in the area of the Campi Flegrei a new earthquake has woken up the population who, at 4 am today, Tuesday 7 May 2024, in most cases were sleeping. A shock that was felt indiscriminately.
THE detectors of the Vesuvian Observatory, in fact, recorded an event with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2. A nice, decidedly high shock, which was followed by other smaller seismic events after 6am (2 and 2.9 respectively).
The 4 am seismic event was located right on the eastern edge of the Solfatara. The two subsequent tremors, a few minutes apart (at 5.53 and 5.57) were recorded more or less in the same area.
