Abu Dhabi (Etihad)
Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi revealed its plans to begin developing the “Baghdad International Golf Club Resort” project within the next few months, with investments worth $1.5 billion (5.5 billion dirhams).
Yesterday, the company announced that it had received the land allocated to develop the project, which is being built on an area of 1,000 acres, and which will include luxury residential neighborhoods containing 2,500 units, a five-star hotel with a capacity of 150 rooms, an exclusive club and resort, and a world-class golf course.
The announcement came after His Excellency Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, Prime Minister of Iraq, received Mohammed Al-Abbar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi, who stressed the importance of the project being held in the city of Baghdad, which has a long history and a rich, thriving culture.
The Baghdad International Golf Club Resort project, which was designed to become a prominent landmark in the city’s landscape, reflects Eagle Hills Abu Dhabi’s modern vision, which enhances Baghdad’s position as a city that is proud of its ancient past and looks forward to its brilliant future.
