From Dakar to Formula E
After Pascal Wehrlein's success in the first weekend of season 10 in Mexico City, Formula E is ready to return this weekend for the second round of the world championship. From Latin America, the major championship of 100% electric single-seaters will move to Saudi Arabiaa nation that last week welcomed another event of international importance in the world of motorsport such as the Dakar Rally, won for the fourth time in his career by Carlos Sainz Sr.
The double-header arrives
The circuit will once again be that of Diriyah, included for the first time in the Formula E calendar in 2018. That edition, among other things, was the only one to include the holding of a single race, unlike the subsequent championships. This year too, in fact, the first double-header weekend of the season, i.e. two races scheduled on the same weekend. The event, which last year also saw Wehrlein's double success, will officially start Thursday 25 January with the first free practice session taking place, with qualifying 1 and race one scheduled for the following day. On Saturday 27th, however, the E-Prix will end with qualifying 2 and race 2.
Live TV and streaming
As last week, the TV and streaming channels that will broadcast the event will not change, except for changes such as those that occurred for the race in Mexico City, initially scheduled free-to-air on Canale 20 but then moved to sportmediaset.it by the Cologno Monzese networks. In any case, all sessions of free tests they will be available on the Formula E app, as well as on the official Facebook and YouTube channels of the competition itself. The qualificationsinstead, they will be broadcast on sportmediaset.it and on Discovery+. For race 1, in addition to the services already mentioned for the qualifications, there will be live free-to-air coverage on Canale 20, with race 2 also visible on Eurosport 1.
