The Resilience Diploma Program targets all workers in the various resilience and risk reduction sectors in governmental and non-governmental institutions, the private sector, and civil society organizations, in addition to employees and students who wish to enhance their capabilities and develop their skills, at the hands of experts, specialists, and academics from Dubai Police and the American University in Dubai. Director of the Resilience Center, Brigadier General Expert Ahmed Atiq Bourguiba, said that the launch of the third edition comes after the distinguished results and success achieved in the first and second editions.
He pointed out that the Emirate of Dubai won the “Model City in the Field of Resilience, Intelligence, and Sustainability” award, which is the award given to the best global cities in the efficiency of procedures that enhance flexibility and reduce risks. He added: “Dubai was classified as the first center for flexibility in the world, which makes it imperative We must ensure the sustainability of performance by organizing many initiatives, programs, conferences and courses that achieve the goals and work to sustain this advanced model of professional work.”
Bourguiba continued: “Through the diploma program, we look forward to creating leaders in resilience who can transfer the scientific and applied skills and capabilities they have acquired to their workplace, to enhance strategic planning to confront risks and threats, and to ensure highly efficient workflow and business continuity.”
