Franck Perera will race with the Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracán at Norisring, the scene of the fourth seasonal event of the DTM.
The 38-year-old Frenchman takes over from Rolf Ineichen as Mirko Bortolotti’s teammate this weekend, as the Swiss has fallen ill and will not be able to attend the Nuremberg citizen.
“I am happy to be racing in the DTM for the first time in my career. I will do my best to replace Rolf worthily in car number 19”, comments Perera, factory driver of the Casa del Toro.
“It is also great to work with GRT again and to return to Norisring. I have very good memories of this great facility from the days of Formula 3 and I look forward to returning after a long time.”
